Created by composer, producer and Bassist Yonit Spiegelman in Boston MA in 2014, Foreign Hues is a musical collective re-defining the limits of jazz as we know it, by creating a unique sound influenced by R&B, World-Music and Brazilian and European Folklore music.
"Foreign Hues brings a soulful sound. A smooth bassline and the crisp snaps of the percussion keep the song together, which has its fair share of jazzy piano and horn solos. It culminates in a crescendo, a tease of an ending that leaves you wanting more" Knar Bedian Sounds of Boston
On February 2015 the musical collective released their debut album 'First Words', featuring band members Marina Maiztegui (Brazil), Eleni Arapoglou (Greece), Pepe Hidalgo Ramos (Chile), Evan Waaramaa (USA), Andy Rafiringa (France), Rinat Tregerman, Tomer Rom, Raz Ezra, Rinat Tregerman and Yonit Spiegelman (Israel).
